Your cycle and how you feel
Hormones fluctuate during your cycle. Some women notice it in energy, mood or sleep, others hardly at all.

During a cycle, levels of oestrogen and progesterone, among others, change. How you notice this varies greatly from person to person.
Common experiences
- Around and just before their period, some women experience more fatigue, irritability, cravings or bloating.
- Others feel more energetic in the days after their period.
- Many women notice little difference. That is just as normal.
Training and your cycle
There is no fixed rule that works for everyone. Train based on how you feel today: choose something lighter on heavy days and go for more on good days. That is why Primal Ember does not impose a plan per cycle phase.
Your own patterns
If you track symptoms, after a few cycles the app can show whether a symptom often returns in the same window. Such a pattern is a connection in your data, not an explanation or diagnosis.
